Fastest web hosting providers (2026): tested speed

We rank speed using our fixed eight-criterion scoring methodology, where performance carries the highest weight (20%), supported by an automated weekly responsiveness test. The test makes five sequential HTTPS requests to each provider's official public website from the WhichHosting application server and uses the median time to first byte (TTFB). The server location may vary between runs. Marketing websites may use a CDN, so these measurements indicate public-infrastructure responsiveness, not the future performance of a hosted customer website.
